May 19, 2020
To our valued patients:

In light of concerns surrounding Coronavirus and in response to the latest recommendation from the Governor, we are mandated to remain closed.

If you have an appointment scheduled, we will contact you as soon as we know our reopen date to reschedule. This will help us to manage the overall appointment calendar in order to best address everyone’s needs.

I am reviewing each patient’s treatment status as appointments are rescheduled to minimize the impact this delay will have on your overall treatment time.

If you have an urgent need during this time, such as pain or injury, we will be available for emergency appointments. Please call or text me (Dr. Fox) at 733-5767 for assistance.

According to the New York department of health, emergency orthodontic treatment is limited to “snipping of orthodontic wires that are piercing the mucosa or causing ulceration” but feel free to call to get assistance with anything that is of concern.

From the New York State Dental Association: We have submitted the ADA Return to Work guidelines and follow-up details to the Governor on behalf of all dentists. We have also been in discussions with the Lt. Governor regarding as to when dentists can return to work in NY. It will likely not be exactly on May 15, however, dentist will likely be part of the regional approvals the Governor has been sharing in his briefings. Please know that we are actively advocating for the safe return of dentists in NY. The final decision rests with the Governor, and we are actively communicating our position.
We look forward to seeing you back in our office soon.
